Research Assistant / PhD scholar
Quantum information processing using atoms provides exciting opportunities in quantum computing as well as sensing. The experiment involves knowledge in modern optics, opto-electronics and control hardware and software. In quantum computing we are scaling up our ion trap setup to hold and manipulate larger ion number / qubits with full control. We are looking for experienced undergraduates and post-graduates (MS) to contribute to our projects on (1) quantum networks, (2) Quantum error correction with trapped ions, (3) Scalable ion trap design and fabrication. There are multiple positions open at various levels including PhD opportunities.

Therefore if you want to take the challenge to learn and grow, you are most welcome to write to us. As an essential, you must have an undergraduate degree in physics or electrical engineering. Additional laboratory experience with atomic, molecular and optical sciences will be given priority.
